Why not buy a book called Lipstick on a Pig?
It was written by John McCain’s former press secretary, Torie Clark. I would be curious to know her thoughts on his charges that the phrase, as used by Obama, is now sexist and a slam on Palin.
Sure, McCain himself used it a few months ago in a response to a question about Hillary Clinton, and sure, his former press secretary wrote a goddamn book on the topic. It only is sexist when an uppity black man uses it.
I have completely and utterly lost all respect for McCain.
